The Conversation

Well now I have to take all of the information I've gathered through my research and write a 4-6 page paper concerning this topic of abortion. The hardest thing I've found in writing this paper is decided which area of abortion to tackle. The psychological and physiological on the patients and family, the economical strain it has placed on the nation and even the legality and moral precedence are all great topics to cover however I'm not allowed to show any bias but just present the information I've found.

To be honest, when dealing with a topic such as this it is close to impossible to neglect your own feelings and beliefs and become unbias. However, being one who is pursuing a career in psychology I have to learn how hide my feelings and personal opinions...but that doesn't stop me from being who I am. I refuse for the sake of being politically correct or in an effort to not offend anyone to be hypocritical and give the appearance of supporting something I know in truth is wrong.

This project is suppose to aid us in adding to the conversation on our chosen topics. It has taught me how to present an argument in a balanced and logical manner which only serves to improve my communication skills with others both in the professional and personal arena. As of right now, I have not yet composed the body of my paper...and it's due Friday. All I can say is I thank God that I work well under pressure because come tomorrow I have to pick up the pace and have my rough draft completed so I can get assistance from our writing center.
